Ladies Strangely Familiar Range

Malady blossomed, quite literally, into one Hell of a Glamour Ghoul. The stitch-work tattoos were intentional. The co-ordinating blue skin and the indead status...less so. Malady still can't remember what happened, but she has an uncomfortable feeling that it should have been fatal. Then Nekro descended, pecking at her limbs until the numbness started to subside. He eventually resorted to putting worms in Malady's mouth. That did the trick. Nekro kind of lives with Malady now. And mysteriously, Malady just...kind of lives.

Meet the Strangely Familiar gang! Three underground glamour girls, each with her own alternative style and her own 'strangeling' companion; a special animal acomplice, who would have once been known as her 'familiar'. This is no longer the case in these enlightened times, but they still bring some extra magic into the girls' lives...

Miss Lola needed a new gimmick for her burlesque dance routine. Feathers and fan dances had been done, body paint and pasties were simply too popular. Disconsolate Lola sat at the pavement café bar, sipping prettily on an absinthe shake.

A large spider descended slowly into view, hanging with a trapeze artist’s finesse from a razor wire thread. Lola was transfixed by the precise movement and eerie grace.

Muffet the spider saw a window of opportunity in Lola’s wide eyes. Recently widowed – again – and with seven hundred children to support, Muffet wasted no time in introducing herself and producing a small but elegant business card.

Muffet now works as Lola’s wardrobe mistress and choreographer. The burlesque spider dance fascinates and unnerves audiences in equal measure. Applause and shivers break out when, in the grand finale, Muffet and her children rapidly cocoon Lola from head to toe in a shroud of spun silk, leaving only her ruffled hat on show….

Magenta loves dancing, skulls and crossbones, and things that glow. She is sweet and spiky; toxic pink candy in a sharp neon wrapper. Yet Magenta still fondly remembers her traditional gothic roots. After all, she first met her good friend Jinx in a graveyard on a moonlit night.

Magenta and Jinx can't remember which of them snapped the first glow stick, but it was the start of an addictive habit. They haven't stopped since, and can usually be seen illuminating the darkest of dancefloors.
